My name is Franco Sita, I was born in Bologna in 1965, I obtained a high school diploma in Art at the Liceo Artistico in Bologna and later a Scenography diploma at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna.  

From 1989 to 2001 I worked as a set designer, maker and scenic painter, creating 25 sets for opera, operetta and prose theatre productions for the major theatres of Emilia-Romagna, most of them for the Teatro Comunale di Bologna.  During those same years I also worked as an assistant set designer on numerous music videos, commercials and film productions.

Since 2002 I have devoted myself entirely to the activity of Painter–Decorator, in a constant search for the best pictorial solutions for interior design, creating artistic wall paintings, trompe-l'œil and decorations in private homes as well as large surfaces for commercial and cultural venues.

I specialize in the creation of wall paintings and trompe-l'œil, an art that creates the optical illusion of space and depth, with the aim of bringing beauty and originality directly into clients’ homes and premises.
